American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least one year of experience and current ARRT (R)(CT), BLS, and Washington state licensure for an acute care assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care setting with Level III trauma designationDepartment operates with four CT scanners : two in outpatient, one in ER, and one in CCUPatient population includes emergency, inpatient, and outpatient casesTechnologists rotate coverage for ER, CCU, and may be assigned to a nearby Bellevue outpatient site as neededModalities performed include all CT exams (basic and advanced), most frequently chest, abdomen, pelvis, with specialized procedures such as pelvis colonography, coronary scans, and TAVR planningAverage volume is 20 scans per tech per day in Seattle and 14 scans per tech per day in BellevueEquipment used includes GE CT scanners, GE Centricity, Philips PACS, and Cerner EMRExperience with GE CT scanners requiredDay shift : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM; other scheduling and weekend options may be available depending on department needsWeekend and holiday work may be required depending on scheduled shiftsNo on-call requirements for travelersDuties include performing a variety of CT imaging exams, including advanced studies and specialized planning scansIV starts are required as part of imaging preparationStaff may be assigned to the Bellevue location as needed for the entire duration of the contractOrientation includes a first day dedicated to organizational onboarding and modules, with on-the-job support from a current team member during the initial weekTeam consists of multiple technologists with lead techs and an imaging managerScrub color is navy or gray as preferred by the departmentHoliday coverage is determined by shift rotation and follows standard departmental practiceDepartment does not use RRAs; radiologists are in-houseCandidates cannot have been directly employed by the health system within the past year\n \n Requirements\n
Current BLS, ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications requiredWashington state radiologic technologist license required at time of considerationMinimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience requiredExperience performing CT exams and starting IVs is requiredExperience with Cerner EMR, GE Centricity, and Philips PACS preferredMust have experience operating GE CT scannersMust provide two recent professional references (one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years with employment dates and rehire eligibility)Copy of driver’s license required for considerationRad badge must be obtained prior to startLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
