Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while responding appropriately to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any security-related issues or incidents to Allied Universal management and / or site leadership in accordance with established protocols. Assist visitors, employees, and / or customers by providing directions or general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Support loss prevention efforts by monitoring for unusual activity and reporting potential concerns to the appropriate parties. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Security Guard - Retail Center - Full Time
As a Security Guard in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with customers and staff, delivering exceptional service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and caring. Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour
Job Schedule : DayTime
Friday 12 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
Saturday 12 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
Sunday 12 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
