Lead Back End Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Back End Engineer - Contract.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build distributed backend architecture using TypeScript / Node.js microservices for payment processing

Implement real-time systems for transaction updates and third-party integrations

Own technical decisions related to service architecture, database design, and cloud infrastructure

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in backend engineering with expertise in Node.js / TypeScript

Proven track record in building high-throughput financial or payment systems

Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerization using Docker / Kubernetes

Familiarity with blockchain integration patterns and real-time event processing

Knowledge of security best practices and financial regulatory requirements
