CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The Business Systems Analyst examines data, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and profitability. They analyze business needs, recommend solutions, and collaborate with various teams to implement changes that help the organization achieve its goals. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. CGI Federal is growing its high-performance team whose members share a passion for building high-quality, scalable, advanced IT solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced, outcome-driven mission. This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Gathering and Analyzing Requirements : Business analysts collect and analyze data to understand business needs and requirements, often through interviews, surveys, and document analysis.
• Documenting Requirements : They create detailed documentation, such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases, to clearly outline the needs of the project.
• Process Analysis and Improvement : They analyze existing business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Solution Development : Business analysts work with stakeholders to define and propose solutions that address identified needs and align with business objectives.
• Collaboration and Communication : They facilitate communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant parties to ensure everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals.
• Testing and Implementation Support : They participate in testing new systems and processes to ensure they meet the defined requirements and provide support during implementation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $169,700.00.
