About The Position

Job Title : Radiologic Technologist CT

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (06 : 30 - 14 : 30)

Experience : Two (2) years clinical CT imaging experience

License : State Licensed Radiographer required

Certifications : ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) and (CT) required

Must-Have : BLS certified by the American Heart Association

Description :

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures utilizing an assortment of radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors.

Set up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed to include the use of proper isolation precautions when needed.

Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.

Floating may occur based on current staffing needs.

Shifts may be assigned in multiple units and locations within the organization.

Weekend rotation and associated call may be required based on operational needs.

Travelers must have a permanent address 50 miles from the assigned primary work site location.

Pass / Fail testing is required with strict passing criteria.

Telemetry exam will be required prior to start with specific identification criteria for lethal rhythms.

Travelers need to have an active telemetry competency on file.
