Description

St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital strives to create a truly healing environment. With physicians in many disciplines, including cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics, patients receive advanced care from professionals they can count on. St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital is a 167-bed facility that offers a Level III Trauma unit.

  • Accredited Chest Pain Center
  • Certified Primary Stroke Center
  • Joint Commission-accredited joint replacement program.

Diverse anesthesia cases include obstetric, general, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, orthopedic, pediatrics, and urology

7pm – 7am, 7 days on 7 days off

This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and assuring delivery of excellent care.

Requirements

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and / or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
