Pay Range : $23.00 - $26.00 / hour (est. 84 / hrs. per week)

Pay is based on numerous factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

• The role is based in a remote part of southern central Florida. You will be working 7-days a week and 12-hour shifts. All personnel will be required to live on-site, and meals and housing will be provided.

Position Overview :

We are seeking highly vigilant and professional Correctional Officers (Unarmed) to maintain safety and order within the facility. In this crucial role, you will contribute to the facility's overall security framework by providing diligent monitoring and support, working in close collaboration with other staff to ensure the secure and orderly environment for all facility occupants and compliance with all established regulations and protocols. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Work Environment :

Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Physical Requirements :

Employees may be required to remain in a stationary position, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach. Employees may be also required to use gear to move items around, including, but not limited to, carts and dollies. Employees may also be occasionally required to lift and / or move up to 49 pounds.
