Responsibilities Work in a Level 1 trauma, teaching hospital setting on the Nuclear Medicine unit Primarily perform PET / CT scans with Siemens equipment Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM May be required to work up to 2 Saturdays per month depending on unit needs No regular night, holiday, or on-call requirements Charting is completed using Epic EMR Position involves administering PET / CT procedures and ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed Teal top and black pants required for scrubs Previous staff, including PRN, must have separated for at least 1 year to be considered All requested time off must be included at time of consideration; approval based on unit needs Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced local rate Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November) Parking available nights and weekends with a one-time fee Pre-start online modules required, averaging 4 hours to complete Requirements Minimum of 1 year Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience Current NMTCB and ARRT certifications with either Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, or Computed Tomography on the certification Active SCRQSA state licensure in Nuclear Medicine and either Radiology or Computed Tomography required; license required if applicable Current BLS certification (AHA) Experience with Siemens PET / CT scanners required Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency Accepts first-time travelers Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624477.
