About the Role
AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician to support production testing and troubleshooting of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and related assemblies. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and experience with RF and test equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Follow all ESD and Board Handling procedures.
Handle Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSDs) per component moisture sensitivity levels (MSL).
Troubleshoot and identify defective components down to the component level, submitting for rework as needed.
Read and interpret schematics to support the troubleshooting process.
Perform functional, boundary scan, and RF-related tests on production PCBs.
Run software backups, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on test control computers; clean and resolve issues as needed.
Create detailed test reports documenting results and findings.
Train and support production test operators and debug technicians.
Participate in test process improvements, efficiencies, and safety initiatives.
Use applications like Clarity to track yields and troubleshooting data.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments and interface with customers as required.
Support engineering development projects and test station improvements.
May be required to work overtime or occasional Saturdays.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Highly computer literate with strong problem-solving and deductive reasoning.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision on routine tasks.
Knowledge of operational procedures, tools, and test standards.
Qualifications
AA / AS Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of related electronics test and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with HP 3070, GenRad, oscilloscopes, spectrum / network analyzers, and other test equipment.
Able to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level.
RF experience required; amplifier and attenuator experience preferred.
Ability to support multiple product lines and customers.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual (ITAR / CUI compliance requirement).
Pay & Schedule
$25 $28 / hr, depending on experience.
First Shift : Monday Thursday, every other Friday.
Full-time schedule with occasional overtime or Saturday work.
