The Machine Operator at our Baldwin, WI location involves the set up and operation of metal working machines to fabricate to specifications. This is an onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Role Responsibilities :

Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications

Schedule and handle materials

Assure compliance with print specifications

Utilize computer programming Maintain a clean, organized work area

Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.

Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma / GED; Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions

Knowledge of general safety practices

Knowledge of general metal material properties

Ability to work with close tolerances

Strong mechanical ability and mathematical skills

Communicate effectively

Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.

Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.

Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.

Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.

Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications :

Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired

Hourly Pay Range : $26.14

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.

This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
