Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in California requiring a CA RN license and strong cardiac procedural skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Day shift schedule from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, 10-hour shifts
  • Weekend and call coverage are required
  • Floats to other units as needed within skillset
  • Serves adult cardiac patient population
  • Responsible for monitoring and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions
  • Scrub duties are not required for this role
  • Annual compliance training must be completed following hiring
  • Dress code and orientation details will be provided upon acceptance
  • Travelers who have completed two assignments must take a 12-month break before returning

  • Active CA RN license in hand
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of cath lab RN experience required
  • Experience with tele interpretation is required
  • Critical care experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and conscious sedation skills required
  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccines required; medical or religious exceptions are accepted
