• : 45-47 JOB NUMBER : 25-03502 JOB DESCRIPTION : Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Senior Advanced Design Drafting Technician to work from their Bloomington, MN facility. While providing leadership to a team of drafters, the Senior Advanced Design Drafting Technician will perform detailed design and documentation of mechanical components or subsystems, by producing two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D) CAD work product output for fabrication and assembly. We will seek your counsel on determining scale, inserting necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning along with preparing specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations. You'll prepare complete production detail drawings and contribute design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations. QUALIFICATIONS : Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
