Development Officer

Description:

Most Precious Blood Catholic Church is seeking a Part-Time Development Officer to support Parish fundraising through consistent donor outreach, strong stewardship, and direct solicitation. The ideal candidate is comfortable making donor asks (in person and by phone). Building practical systems and representing the mission of the Church within the life of the Archdiocese of Denver

Requirements:

CORE RESPOSIBILITIES:

DONOR STEWARDSHIP & GRATITUDE

· Write and coordinate timely thank-you notes and other donor acknowledgements

· Strengthen donor retention through consistent, personal follow up

BUILD A DONOR CONTACT SYSTEM (CRM)

· Establish and maintain a CRM (or comparable tracking system) for donor records, touch points, tasks, and follow-ups.

· Create a repeatable cadence for outreach calls, notes, emails, meetings, and pastoral touch points

SOLICITATION & RELATIONSHIP – BUILDING

· Conduct donor calls and meetings and direct asks:

· With and without the Pastor

· In person and over the phone

· Helps identify next-step prospects and coordinates visits schedules and follow-ups

MISSION COMMUNICATION

· Clearly articulate the mission of the catholic Church and the Parish’s fundraising priorities.

Especially within the Archdiocese of Denver context.
