Zentech products are proudly Made in America.Job Description : The Quality Control Inspector performs product inspections utilizing magnified visual aids and mechanical measuring devices to ensure product conformance to internal and customer technical data package requirements. This process includes analyzing technical data packages (e.g. assembly instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, specifications, etc.) in order to : Identify and resolve issues affecting product configurationIdentify and assign rework actions necessary to rework production productAccept production product work-in-process and approve for next assigned operationSkills : Candidates must be able to work in a self directed manner in a fast-paced working environmentFoster and maintain professional and productive relationships with other staff and managementPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate proficiency in computer based applicationsHave experience with electronic assembly including; SMT, T / H & MechanicalAbility to effectively operate visual magnification devices (scope)Ability to effectively operate and interpret basic electronic measuring devicesAbility to effectively operate and interpret basic mechanical measuring devicesQualifications : High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferredBasic math skills requiredAcceptable visual acuity and eye-hand coordinationMust have, or be able to acquire, operator certification for IPC-A-610Must have, or be able to acquire, operator certification for J-STD-001Ability to review and interpret technical data packages for electronic assembliesPhysical Demands : While performing these duties, the employee is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, reach with hand and arm, and talk or hear.
