Your Impact at SAM As a UAS Pilot, you will work as part of a crew in the field to carry out missions and successfully acquire data for survey and inspection projects. Under the review and direction of the Flight Operations Manager, perform aerial data collection using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Act as the Pilot in Command while flying unmanned aerial projects. Conduct pre-flight mission planning and coordination, including filing NOTAMS, submitting COA requests, and conducting pre-flight and on site risk. Perform preventative maintenance on sensor equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles. Conduct field data checks following data collection to ensure adequate project coverage. Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company's strategic goals.

What You Bring to SAM Good communication (oral and written) and organizational skills are essential. A passion for troubleshooting problems in the field. Candidate should demonstrate previous experience with UAVs, and an ability to quickly become proficient in the use of such technology. Ability to operate independent of daily direction and overcome obstacles encountered during field work. FAA issued Part 107 Remote Pilot Airman's Certificate required. No minimum flight hour experience. Survey field experience preferred.
