Job description

Role Description :

  • LST Group is seeking an energetic, highly driven Account Manager to support and expand our business within a group of established clients.
  • You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and expanding our services with existing clients.  You will provide the best solutions for our company to support our clients freight transportation goals.
  • This position leads the charge in ensuring we deliver outstanding service & communication to LST customers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with the carrier team to manage the full lifecycle of shipments from pickup to delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with logistics coordinators and carrier sales team members with respect to order needs, delivery times, customer requests, etc.
  • Monitor shipment status, proactively communicate updates or delays, and resolve any service-related issues.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, focusing on retention and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with carrier partners to ensure capacity, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Analyze client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Track KPIs and service metrics; prepare and present regular performance reports to clients and management.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding service offerings within current accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and industry regulations specific to vehicle transport.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for all orders, load details, client information, and shipment updates into TMS, CRM, and internal databases.

    • Requirements :

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics procedures.
  • Well versed in all modes of transportation with core focus on dry van & reefer Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
