Schedule : Mon-Fri, 1st-Shift (6 : 45a-3 : 00p)

Pay Range : Salaried position $23.00-$27.00 hourly based on experience

Job Summary :

The Maintenance Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the maintenance parts and inventory area to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient environment. This role oversees all maintenance stock items both physically and within the ERP system, supports machinery and equipment maintenance, and coordinates delivery and pickup of parts to keep production schedules on track.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Organize and maintain the maintenance parts storage area.
  • Utilize Epicor / Kinetic ERP system to manage work orders, track hours, parts lists, and inventory transactions.
  • Order parts and materials through Kinetic (60–65% of the role).
  • Follow up on purchase orders, communicate with vendors, and coordinate deliveries (about 40% of the role).
  • Train maintenance team on proper task recording in ERP.
  • Communicate inventory status and issues through reports and verbal updates.
  • Perform weekly errands (e.g., Home Depot run) and occasional emergency part pickups.
  • Maintain clean and organized work environment following 6S principles.
  • Assist with receiving, restocking, and organizing inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Day in the Life :

  • Respond to emails and review documentation.
  • Organize inventory and restock parts.
  • Enter data and manage inventory in ERP system.
  • Cross communication with all manufacturing departments
  • Occasional forklift use for heavy items (over 40 lbs).
  • Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certificate preferred.
  • Inventory management experience in an industrial environment preferred
  • Valid driver’s license (required for occasional part pickups).
  • Mechanical background and ability to learn maintenance processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, basic Excel).
  • ERP experience preferred (Epicor / Kinetic a plus).
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (heavier loads handled with forklift).
  • Safety-conscious and willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Work Environment :

  • Industrial setting with exposure to noise, dust, temperature variations, and machinery.
  • PPE required (safety glasses, steel / composite toe boots, ear protection).
