Job descriptionFollow up as needed with vendors to ensure delivery times & update sales associates of any changes. Verify pricing is correct and quality is acceptable for all special orders. Track Repairs in ARMS. Analyze supply inventories and ensure supply minimums are maintained. Process Return to Vendor forms and shipments. Manage General Voicemail including ensuring proper greetings are recorded & forwarding any messages. Organize & inventory all storage areas, regularly. Make bank deposits as needed. Assist Sales Floor personnel during peak holiday season & during special events. Assist coworkers with shipping or supply needs or questions. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent customer service. Strong Communication skills both verbal and written. Strong ability to identify and solve problems. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Required minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience. Uncompromising integrity. Professional and respectful demeanor. Maintains a positive attitude. Treats others with respect and dignity.
POSITION SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for receiving and shipping various products, supplies and mail as well as ordering supplies, packaging material, and gift wrap. Additionally, processing special orders and performing quality control on all completed work.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Receives and distributes all inbound shipments and creates corresponding logs.
- Prepare and ship all outbound packages / mail including items being send for repair.
- Prepare and take all registered mail to the post office.
- Process all special orders with vendors :
Complete special order logs.
