Treasury Operations Manager
GENERAL FUNCTION : The Treasury Operations Manager oversees the daily management of cash inflows and outflows across the organization. This includes optimizing the distribution of funds among mutual funds and various bank accounts. The role is responsible for ensuring that the company’s cash resources are used efficiently to maximize returns, maintain sufficient liquidity, and comply with all regulatory requirements.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop, implement, and monitor strategies for allocating funds between mutual funds and bank accounts.
- Analyze interest rates, market trends and liquidity needs to make informed investment and allocation decisions.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on cash positions, fund performance, and allocation results.
- Collaborate with internal finance teams to ensure treasury policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls.
- Recommend improvements to treasury processes to increase efficiency and return on assets.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the team's processes, relationships, and applications used to support AITC business lines
- Support various online banking platforms and perform functions related to wire and ACH processing
- Oversee daily net settlement with financial institutions to ensure disbursements to clients are completed timely and accurately
- Perform daily net settlement, balancing and reconciliation of all operating and sweep cash accounts
- Provide leadership, manage staff resources and priorities, ensure cross training, and contribute to overall positive spirit of staff
- Manage idle funds to ensure a positive rate of return for AITC.
- Ensure overdrafts and / or reconciling exceptions are researched and resolved in a timely manner
- Assist with special projects including onboarding of new bank accounts, testing and procedures to support new business, working with vendors on system enhancements for ongoing efficiency, and providing creative solutions and ideas
- Draft and implement desk procedures with periodic review to ensure accuracy
- Provide resolution and / or alternatives to management resulting from internal or external concerns
- Perform other duties as requested

Ability to lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.BS, BA Degree or equivalent work experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office products, advanced excel experience required, macros experience desirableAbility to work under pressure and adjust to volatile work scheduleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood problem-solving skillsKnowledge of US Banking regulations desirablePrior experience in treasury management, fund allocation, or a similar financial role.Knowledge of relevant banking and investment regulations and best practices.Knowledge of securities industry and transfer agent practices and regulations desirablePrior knowledge of trust accounting platforms such as AddVantage is a plus, but not requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS :
