Litigation Paralegal

Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who has a passion for the law, a keen eye for detail, and a drive to make a significant impact. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the New Jersey legal landscape, and will be well-versed in case filings, draftings, and discovery. This role offers an exciting chance to be involved in the intricacies of litigation proceedings, providing crucial support to our attorneys and ensuring the smooth running of our legal processes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post trial.
• Conducting initial case investigations and gathering facts.
• Coordinating case filings and managing case calendars efficiently.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Organizing and managing discovery documents, including reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing documents.
• Assisting in deposition preparation, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and / or trial.
• Coordinating the collection, review, and production of documents and responding to discovery requests.
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda as needed.
