ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Holdrege, Nebraska.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PACU

Job Details :

  • Manage, organize and administer nursing care for patients of all ages under physician supervision
  • Assess patient data regarding physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions based on age and development
  • Utilize the nursing process to direct and deliver patient care, including developing, implementing, revising and evaluating formal care plans
  • Administer medications using the "Five Rights of Medication Administration"
  • Provide patient and family education appropriate for age and learning abilities
  • Assist Operating Practitioner and CRNA during procedures
  • Participate in sterilization, stocking and case set-up activities
  • Prepare and clean rooms, instruments and supplies as scheduled
  • Responsible for rotation of call coverage as assigned
  • Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties as assigned
  • Assist in Sterile Processing and endoscopy procedures
  • Organize and prioritize daily assignments to provide optimal patient care
  • Must lift and move up to 40 pounds frequently and occasionally lift more than 100 pounds
  • Work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock
  • Required education : Bachelor's degree (BSN), Associate's degree (ADN) or diploma from accredited nursing school
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska
  • Current BLS / CPR certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Must maintain BLS certification and complete required in-services and continuing education
