Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children aged 5-14 with mild to severe trauma or neglect, psychiatric disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our unique location on a 270-acre farm provides a nurturing treatment setting with a variety of therapy resources. We bring the light of love and healing into the lives of countless abused and neglected children, and those suffering from psychiatric and behavioral disorders. Pay : Starting at $35 an hour, negotiable based on experience.

What you will do : As the RN on the overnight shift, you will work as a member of the Medical Department and will be primarily responsible for the health care of the residents, maintain all resident medical files and educate residents on health issues, first aid, infectious controls and emergency procedures. You will ensure adherence to the healthcare guidelines and implement safety standards for the youth. In this role, you will manage the students’ care according to their needs, administer prescribed medications, delegate medical services to other licensed staff and assist the medical and psychiatric team in any other areas of need.

To be considered you should : Be at least 21 years of age ~ Possess a current RN license from the state of Virginia ~ Have a minimum of two years of medical-surgical experience ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule : 6 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM
