As a Security Professional - Tech / Media Unarmed Patrol PT in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors, responding to incidents, and assisting with security-related concerns, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $22.44 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMFri06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to site protocols.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and / or contractors with access and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address site-specific security-related needs and concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and remain alert to any potential security-related issues within the tech and media environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid state-issued security guard card or license is preferred.
  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
