New York Nursing Job Details Location : Watertown, NY 13601 (Upstate New York healthcare jobs) Assignment Type : Travel RN, On-Site Start Date : December 4, 2025 End Date : March 4, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am); weekends, holidays, and call required Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $2130 – $2190 Patient Ratio : 1 : 5-6 Float Requirement : MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt, and acute inpatient rehab (ortho / neuro) RN Qualifications & Requirements Active New York RN license (NY nursing jobs) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing BLS and ACLS certifications required Meditech EMR experience required Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience At least 1 successful travel RN assignment completed (no first-time travelers) Strong leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to thrive in high-stress healthcare environments and demonstrate creative problem-solving Registered Nurse Responsibilities Float between Med / Surg and acute inpatient rehab units as needed Deliver high-quality patient care for diverse diagnoses : sepsis, COPD, CHF, post-op, general med / surg, post-op plastics, and ALC (awaiting nursing home placement) Administer required drips and medications (Heparin drips, magnesium and potassium riders) Assess patient needs and provide comprehensive clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual support Recognize and address safety issues, including safe patient movement and lift usage Demonstrate strong leadership and assume charge nurse duties when required Apply now to join our healthcare team in Watertown, NY and experience rewarding travel nursing opportunities in upstate New York!
