Medical Policy Pharmacist

This pharmacist position is responsible for patient

care activities including clinical pharmacy services to patients

receiving ambulatory care services at CoxHealth. Additional

responsibilities and teaching experiences will vary based on the

position outline below as well as involvement in special projects.

In addition, individuals will exemplify the CoxHealth mission,

vision, and values and act in accordance with CoxHealth policies

and procedures Graduation from an ACPE Accredited School of

Pharmacy with Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Completion of a minimum of

one year of pharmacy residency training  Required : 3 years of

pharmacy experience in the ambulatory or community setting OR 1

year pharmacy residency Ambulatory or community pharmacy experience

• Missouri Pharmacist license or eligible for licensure. Bachelors

in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy ▪

Preferred : Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited

PGY1 residency Experience : ▪ Required : No Prior Experience Required

▪ Preferred : 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency

training Licensure / Certification / Registration : ▪ Required :

Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist or

registry eligible and obtain within 90 days of hire ▪ Eligibility

for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy

License at time of hire

Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
