Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatrics position in California requiring pediatric, adult Med Surg, and telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital pediatric unit with care responsibilities for both pediatric and adult Med Surg patients

12-hour day shifts with typical scheduling of 36 hours per week

Every other weekend work required

Must have telemetry experience

13-week assignment

Meditech EMR experience preferred

Care for both pediatric and adult Med Surg patients as assigned

Prior travel nursing experience preferred

First-time travelers will be considered

Team-oriented environment with expectations to float within skill set

Requirements

Active California RN license required

Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric and adult Med Surg experience

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Telemetry experience required

NIHSS certification preferred

Meditech EMR experience preferred

Prior permanent staff at this health system not accepted as travelers

Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
