About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Maryland, starting on 08 / 02 / 2025. This diverse role offers various shift options, including 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts, with schedules ranging from 7a-5p to 7a-7a. While not required, call availability is highly preferred, with 7p-7a beeper call and post-call day off. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing blocks, spinals, and epidurals, and have experience in a wide range of surgical cases including general, endoscopic, orthopedic, neurosurgery / spine, urology, cardiology, vascular, gynecology, thoracic, ENT, and minimal cardiac procedures. New graduates with a clean malpractice record will also be considered.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

Administer anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical procedures

Perform blocks, spinals, and epidurals as needed

Manage patient care throughout the perioperative period

Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals

Participate in on-call duties when required (7p-7a beeper call)

Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using the Epic EMR system

Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Additional Information :

Experience preferred, but new graduates with clean malpractice records will be considered

Proficiency in blocks, spinals, and epidurals required

Comfort with a wide range of surgical specialties necessary

Maryland medical license required

Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred

Possibility of assignment extension
