(Full Time – Field Based)
Serving South Lyon, Novi, Northville, Plymouth, Walled Lake, and Wixom

What You’ll Do
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll help patients reach their mobility and independence goals by providing high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care in accordance with each patient’s Plan of Care.
Follow the established Plan of Care and communicate any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Adhere to state practice guidelines and Elara Caring’s standards for exceptional home health care.
Educate patients and caregivers on safe use of assistive devices and home exercise programs.
Perform hands-on, active work that includes lifting, transferring, and assisting patients as needed.
What You’ll Need
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
Current, unrestricted PTA license valid in the state of practice.
Minimum of six months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned coverage area.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently, with the capacity to lift 50–100 lbs.
