Collections Specialist

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist (Account Servicing Specialist I).

Key Responsibilities

Perform outbound calls on past due customer accounts to resolve delinquency

Research delinquent accounts and determine the best course of resolution actions

Process over the phone payments and provide relief options to customers in hardship

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in business, finance, communication, marketing, or related field, or relevant applicable experience

Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, and email

Professional phone presence and strong persuasion and negotiation skills

Able to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy

Availability for two evening shifts per week and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks
