Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a growing independent insurance agency to find a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment and is looking to continue building a long-term career in personal insurance.

Position : Personal Lines Account Manager

Location : Wausau

Schedule : Full-time

Compensation : Competitive salary based on experience + benefits

Job Resposibilites : Core Client Service

  • Respond to day-to-day inquiries and service requests from assigned clients.
  • Provide coverage recommendations and gather necessary exposures from clients and prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and education.
  • Attend client meetings as required.

Policy Management

  • Prepare submissions and market new / renewal business to appropriate carriers.
  • Quote, analyze, compare, and recommend coverage options.
  • Manage renewal timelines to ensure timely decisions and execution.
  • Review client contracts and policies for accuracy.
  • Prepare summaries of insurance, renewal documents, schedules, and proposals.

    • Administrative & System Management

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client information in the agency management system.
  • Track, manage, and document open issues, keeping clients and agents informed of progress.
  • Support agents with presentations for new and renewal business.
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and carriers / vendors to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

    • Industry Engagement & Compliance

  • Communicate and educate clients on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and internal procedures.
  • Uphold accuracy and high attention to detail across all documentation and client communications.
