As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential patient care in a hospital, clinic, or home health care setting under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures, ensuring timely procurement of necessary equipment and supplies during emergencies.
• In psychiatric settings, support patients through reality orientation, behavior modification therapies, and provide essential support to patients and families.
• Observe, collect, and document significant patient information while providing care, promptly reporting any changes in the patient's condition.
• Guide patients and their families during admission, orientation, and discharge processes, enhancing their overall experience.
• Deliver therapeutic care as outlined in the plan, which includes measuring vital signs, specimen collection, basic wound care, and support for daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Perform indirect care tasks such as cleaning work areas, restocking supplies, and ensuring instruments are sterilized and transport patients / supplies efficiently.
• Reinforce education provided by nurses or physicians, documenting patient comprehension and distributing educational materials as needed.
