Summary :
Join our dedicated team to provide essential patient care during air and ground critical care transport. Your expertise will make a difference in lives during their most vulnerable moments.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive patient care throughout the transport process, from initial contact until transition to the accepting medical team.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses within required timeframes.
- Engage in pre- and post-transport briefings and provide follow-up to referral agencies.
- Ensure all equipment is operational, addressing any discrepancies as necessary, and complete vehicle and equipment checklists.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, offering safety and clinical education to referring facilities and EMS agencies.
- Exhibit strong critical thinking abilities and decisive judgment, operating effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
Requirements :
Education : High school diploma or GED.Licensure / Certification : National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), Colorado EMT-P certification, Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C), and a valid driver's license. Other state licenses as required for service area within six months of hire.Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and one of the following : Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC), PHTLS, or ITLS.Experience : Minimum of 5 years as a paramedic with preferred experience in a high call volume environment. Preferred qualifications include flight / CCT experience and various instructor certifications.Benefits :
