Base pay range

$19.00 / hr - $19.00 / hr

The NOW, a new concept massage boutique, was founded on the principle that self-care is a necessity not a luxury. Designed to serve as an oasis from today’s fast paced digital society, their goal is to offer high-quality, affordable massage services in an inspired setting. After launching in 2015, The NOW quickly became a wellness destination for globe-trotting influencers and locals alike. With boutiques currently open from coast to coast and several locations on the horizon, The NOW is looking forward to bringing their thoughtfully crafted menu with customizable enhancements, healing products and singular design aesthetic to cities all over the United States.

The Experience Guide is responsible for the reception area and overall seamless daily operations of the facility. Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting guests, managing the sauna experience from check-in to check-out, housekeeping and inventory tasks, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding services and products, booking all appointments, promoting memberships and retail, checking guests into the computer system, customizing massage services, and charging for services performed. This position may involve additional duties as necessary to maintain operational efficiency and security.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide top level guest service for all guests.
  • Know and articulate The NOW mission.
  • Be on time for your shift.
  • Open and close boutique daily according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Accurately book, change and cancel massage appointments via telephone.
  • Ensure necessary waivers are signed prior to appointment.
  • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of services, enhancements, sauna usage instructions, retail products, policies, memberships, and parking information with any applicable challenges.
  • Utilize computers with skill and proficiency for business purposes.
  • Maintain cash register bank and safeguard guest financial data.
  • Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s first name during conversations.
  • Actively promote services, enhancements, memberships and retail, as well as special events, promotions and discounts.
  • Maintain eye contact when addressing guests.
  • Handle guest questions and concerns professionally, paraphrasing to ensure understanding.
  • Provide accurate, immediate responses to guest requests for complete satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work and common areas, including sanitizing saunas as needed.
  • Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a healthy, respectful workplace.
  • Regularly attend and support training and staff meetings.
  • Assist in all areas of operation as requested, including administrative and cleaning duties.
  • Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.

  • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication, listening and computer skills. Must be a team player.
  • Compensation + Benefits

    Pay Range : $19.00 / hour

    Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, Life / AD&D, 401K, paid time off, and holidays.

    NOTE : Our infrared sauna service is not yet available in all locations. Therefore, duties and responsibilities as outlined above may vary based on location and the needs of that boutique.
