Position Overview :
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our growing team. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, the RN will support diagnostic and interventional procedures, provide critical nursing care throughout the cardiac catheterization process, and ensure a safe and smooth patient experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians during cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
- Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and sedation levels
- Administer medications and moderate sedation per physician orders and hospital protocol
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, medications, and patient outcomes
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with preparation and setup of all equipment
- Respond to emergency situations using critical thinking and ACLS protocols
- Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-procedure care
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, radiology techs, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications :
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of TexasAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited programMinimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab, ICU, ER, or critical care experience (Cath Lab preferred)BLS and ACLS certification requiredStrong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity procedural settingWho We Are :

Required Skills :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited programActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of TexasBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationAdditional certifications (e.g., PALS, NIH Stroke Scale) considered a plusProficient with Cath Lab equipment and sterile technique protocolsSkilled in administering moderate sedation and monitoring patient responsesFamiliarity with EMR systems such as EPIC or equivalentStrong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly in high-acuity environmentsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with physicians, techs, and nursing staffFlexible and adaptable to changing schedules and clinical prioritiesRequired Experience :
