Preferred Education :
Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent experienceRequired Skills & Abilities :
5+ years of design experience in a comparable retail environmentAccessories design experienceExceptional talent with a commercial fashion eye and detail in product styling / performanceDemonstrated ability to create original design sketches and successful product linesProficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach and a customer service philosophyChampion for change and able to react with speed and agilityHighly motivated, passionate, results-orientedDisplays flexibility and is a creative problem solverSolid communication and presentation skillsModerate domestic and minimal international travelExperience with Centric is a plusResponsibilities :
Create brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction / business strategyDevelop product with a focus on style, functionality and material execution.Deliver product designs with flawless execution, achieving goals with speed, agility and acute attention to detailExecute design sketches / prototypes and provide specificationsAdapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalizationConfidently present designs to internal leader / team as well as key cross-functional partners; discuss key trends and market awareness in both digital deck format as well as in person product reviews.Implement processes to understand / anticipate the needs of the customer in order to exceed customer expectations and readily react to their needsIdentify and recommend resources in sourcing new ideas, both internally and externally, and conduct ongoing competitor research / trend analysis.Collaborate and communicate with key partners throughout the design process including Merchandising and Product Development; Build / maintain collaborative and effective relationshipsAnticipate / solve potential issues and provide conflict resolutionManage, inspire and develop junior design talentAssess practices to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and speed in deliveryEnsure deliverables meet budget and time commitments without compromising design excellenceOnly those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.Benefits :
