Software Engineer III

Hybrid Schedule Relevant experience with :

1. Python Development (technical interviews will focus on this) - and Frameworks (Django / DRF preferred)

2. ETL pipelines - ideally for media content, large data sizes

3. AWS S3 object storage, other AWS services (EKS a plus)

4. CI / CD / DevOps in general

We are looking for at least 5 years experience with the above, and generally expect an educational background in computer science / SW engineering.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience designing technical solutions for complex systems
• Must have strong proficiency in Python and Object Oriented Programming skills
• High level of expertise developing applications using in Django and Django Rest Framework
• Experience designing scalable data systems and implementing ETL pipelines for high throughput applications
• Built and deployed large scale applications leveraging AWS Cloud Services
• Understanding of CI / CD and DevOps methodologies for managing infrastructure and code deployment
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Bonus for UI / UX development experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills

Description

You'll be working in a team of data engineers to design and develop solutions to data collection and management problems of volume, variety and velocity. You will design, build and deploy solutions for data pipelines and processing with a focus on robust scalability, monitoring and observability. Your goal is to raise the quality and productivity of the data collection and management team as a whole by building services and solutions that allow everyone to work faster.
