Speech Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, particularly with pediatric patients, and possess the ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans. This role is essential in helping children improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. The Speech Therapist will work closely with patients, families, and educational staff to provide effective therapy interventions.

• Duties
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to children in various settings, including schools and clinics.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to support communication development at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
• Stay current with best practices in speech therapy, including early intervention techniques.
• Qualifications
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric speech therapy practices and techniques.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient assessment methods.
• Familiarity with early intervention strategies for young children is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
