Rotating Machinery Subject Matter Expert

A company is looking for a Rotating Machinery SME to oversee engineering efforts and collaborate with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the design and manufacturing processes of large nuclear fluid pumps, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications

Provide technical oversight to partners and subcontractors, guiding the development of mechanical system designs

Coordinate comprehensive reviews of analyses, integrating results into the overall design delivery

Key Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university

15+ years of direct experience with proven skills in mechanical systems

Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with pumps and rotating machinery, particularly in large vertical pump design and manufacture

Extensive experience across the hardware lifecycle, from concept to execution

Experience working to ASME NQA-1 standards
