Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Class A CDL Driver with a strong background in safe and efficient freight transportation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of verifiable driving experience, a tanker endorsement, and proven experience handling refrigerated trailers. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport goods, including refrigerated and liquid products, across local, regional, or OTR routes as assigned.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Handle refrigerated units, ensuring temperature control requirements are met throughout transit.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, including tanker freight when applicable.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to safety standards and report any incidents, delays, or maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL license with current tanker endorsement.Minimum 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.Must have proficient computer skills to operate the following (On-Board Computer, ELD, Scanners, & GPS Equipment)Experience in operating Refrigerated Trailers required.Experience in operating Tanker Trailers required.Previous experience with transporting Food Grade products preferredClean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.Excellent time management and communication skills.Preferred Skills
