Job Summary

We are seeking a professional Class A CDL Driver with a strong background in safe and efficient freight transportation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of verifiable driving experience, a tanker endorsement, and proven experience handling refrigerated trailers. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Transport goods, including refrigerated and liquid products, across local, regional, or OTR routes as assigned.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Handle refrigerated units, ensuring temperature control requirements are met throughout transit.
  • Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, including tanker freight when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
  • Adhere to safety standards and report any incidents, delays, or maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL license with current tanker endorsement.
  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • Must have proficient computer skills to operate the following (On-Board Computer, ELD, Scanners, & GPS Equipment)
  • Experience in operating Refrigerated Trailers required.
  • Experience in operating Tanker Trailers required.
  • Previous experience with transporting Food Grade products preferred
  • Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.

  • Previous experience with transporting Food Grade products preferred
  • Experience with both local and over-the-road (OTR) routes.
  • Customer service skills when interacting at delivery or pickup locations.
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic truck and trailer troubleshooting.
