    PT- 1-2 days a week or weekends if preferred (Hourly)

    Job Summary :

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of all production equipment and facility systems. This position performs electrical, mechanical, and control system troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment. The technician supports food safety and quality initiatives in alignment with Homefrees SQF, GMP, and safety programs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

    Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system problems to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing equipment

    Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and scheduled inspections per company program

    Troubleshoot and repair control circuitry.

    Dismantle, repair, and reassemble complex equipment to maintain optimum efficiency

    Install, set up, and test manufacturing equipment while ensuring safety compliance

    Perform line checks, machine changeovers, and functional operating tests

    Complete PM and repair work orders accurately and on time

    Record parts usage, inspection results, and maintenance actions in log

    Identify and communicate areas for efficiency, reliability, and safety improvements

    Collaborate with production staff to enhance equipment performance

    Maintain technical skills through training and assist in training others

    Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality as defined in plant and department procedures

    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in shop and production floor

    Qualifications :

    Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing or food production maintenance role

    Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills

    Excellent problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
