As a well-known and growing Carrier Refrigeration, Volvo, Hino, and TICO dealership, we have 14 locations throughout Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin and Tennessee. Gateway Truck & Refrigeration is hiring an Accounting Clerk to assist our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialists on our team as we continue to grow. This position will support all 14 locations, but is located out of our Collinsville, IL location.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc
• Assist with sending statements to customers
• Post branch petty cash receipts, including cash and credit card transactions
• Track and investigate deductions (charge backs) from customer payments
• Process, transmit, and run credit card transactions for customer sales and refunds
• Process customer requests for reprints or updated statements upon demand
• Code invoices and check requests
• Process invoices & check requests via accounting software (Karmak)
• Process units and truck invoices including corresponding serialized numbers
• Reconcile statements
• Assist with processing weekly check runs
• Other duties as assigned
