As a Senior Account Manager, you'll manage relationships with clients, which means you need to be proactive, able to multi-task in a fast-paced sometimes ambiguous environment, and are sales-focused to help expand the client relationship. You're an advisor and consultant, as well as a client advocate within Google. Above all, you are responsible for collaborating with your team to achieve goals. You will be someone looking to develop their selling skills and to be a part of a great culture. Our clients will be engaged with us on search, YouTube and Programmatic, giving you a great breadth of experience.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$148,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising, and media campaigns and experience with Google Ads, YouTube, DV360, or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.
  • Experience working with data to identify trends and performance insights, optimizing and troubleshooting products or services, and managing multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment and build trust with partners to achieve business goals.
  • Excellent client service, relationship building, organizational, analytical, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent team player who competently navigates ambiguity and has customer-facing consulting or sales experience.
  • Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a team to support growth and maintain a pipeline of opportunities for existing customer accounts.
  • Lead meetings with customers regarding new product and advertising opportunities while ensuring customers are satisfied with their business growth.
  • Identify and develop forward thinking, data analysis, and recommendations that align with customer goals. Quantify opportunities with clear recommendations to pitch to customers, while managing objections and evaluating campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage operations within the team, prioritizing and executing initiatives and ensuring accountability to team goals.
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting support for customer accounts and campaigns.
