NewEra is seeking experienced Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurses (LTAC RN) to join our team in Columbia, MO.

Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse (LTAC RN) Contract Details :

Assignment Duration : Full time,13 Weeks
Location : Columbia, MO
Shift : 3x12s - Nights, 1900 - 0730
Pay : $74 / hour

Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse (LTAC RN) Responsibilities :

Administer nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients

Provide specialized treatment for chronic conditions, monitor ventilators and drips, and support wound care

Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans

Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior

Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention

Maintain accurate patient medical records

Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse (LTAC RN) Qualifications :

One year Critical Care, LTAC or PCU / Step down experience preferred

Valid MO or Compact RN License required

AHA BLS and ACLS required

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
