About The Position

We are seeking a

Locum Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our

high-performing Orthopedic Trauma Program in San Jose, CA. Located within a

busy Level II Trauma Center, our program processes approximately 600 trauma

cases annually, offering a challenging and rewarding environment for dedicated

trauma surgeons.

The physician

will work 10 shifts per month, delivering expert care to trauma

patients while collaborating with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

Compensation :   $5,000 Per Shift

Position Highlights :

• Trauma Level :   II

Case Volume : ~ 600 orthopedic

trauma cases per year

Practice Setting :   Inpatient

surgical care and outpatient clinic follow-up

Key Responsibilities :

Provide expert surgical care for

orthopedic trauma patients

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

to ensure comprehensive treatment plans

Participate in inpatient rounding,

consults, surgical interventions, and post-op care

Conduct follow-up care in the orthopedic

trauma clinic

Engage in quality improvement and

contribute to program development alongside VMC

Qualifications :

Completion of Orthopedic Surgery

Residency

Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma

required

Board Certified or Board Eligible in

Orthopedic Surgery
