Key Job Details - OR RN Travel Assignment Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Travel Location : Tucson, AZ 85712 (Arizona healthcare jobs) Assignment Type : 13-week travel contract Start Date : 12 / 1 / 2025 End Date : 3 / 2 / 2026 Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts / week (06 : 45 - 17 : 15) Call : 1-2 shifts / week (nights & weekends); 2 weekend calls per 6-week schedule Patient Population : Adults & Geriatrics Orientation : 40 hours (TMC orientation, twice monthly) Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2370 - $2430 Qualifications - Operating Room RN Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required for Arizona nursing jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, including vascular and endovascular (hybrid OR) procedures Current ACLS and BLS certifications Proficiency with EPIC charting system preferred Experience in main OR surgeries required Previous charge nurse experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred Ability to take scheduled call (nights & weekends) Supervisory reference required Travelers must reside outside a 75-mile radius of Tucson No more than one DUI on record (must be older than one year) OR RN Responsibilities Deliver expert perioperative nursing care in a busy cardiovascular operating room Assist with specialized cardiovascular procedures : bypass graft coronary artery, pericardial windows, video-assisted thoracoscopy, mitral and tricuspid valve repairs, and TAVRs Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC Participate in scheduled call coverage, including nights and weekends Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients Comply with all hospital policies and healthcare compliance standards Enjoy Tucson's lively arts scene, Southwestern cuisine, and stunning mountain views while working in one of Arizona's top healthcare facilities.
