HealthYes Staffing is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a respected and growing regional health system located near Montgomery, Alabama area. We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist / Oncologist to join an established and expanding cancer care program. This position is open to graduating fellows from 2025 and 2026 classes, with J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available.

Position Overview

The incoming physician will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes experienced oncologists, nurse practitioners, and dedicated oncology support staff. The cancer program is well-integrated with surgical, pathology, and radiation oncology services, and offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic support.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions

Provide both inpatient consults and outpatient care in a clinic-based setting

Collaborate with radiation oncology, surgery, and palliative care teams

Participate in tumor boards, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary care planning

Optional opportunity to participate in clinical trials and teaching, if desired

Qualifications

MD or DO with completion of U.S.-based Hematology / Oncology fellowship

Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and / or Oncology

Eligible for licensure in the state of practice

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
