A local company in Utica is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, with hands-on experience using lab equipment (DMM, Oscilloscopes, etc.) and using different solder techniques and equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing circuit boards of different levels of complexity and test fixtures.

Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot and diagnose test failures on circuit boards and electronic assemblies down to the component level.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to identify faults and carry out our repairs.
• Repair circuit boards by either replacing defective SMT and / or through-hole components using appropriate soldering and desoldering techniques or performing trace and pad repairs to restore circuit continuity and functionality.
• Document and log repair activities and defects in company software
