Description :

The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse.

The nurse will work 3 shifts of 12 hours during the day.

On-call shifts may be required, up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks.

The nurse will be expected to cover one weekend shift every 4 weeks.

The facility is a level-1 academic trauma center with 21 operating room suites.

Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.

The nursing team is composed of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists.

Registered Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures.

This is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven department.

The facility provides cutting-edge technology.

Surrounding patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Additional responsibilities may arise based on the needs of the facility.
