Location : Essex, MD, 21221

Employment Type : PRN

Pay Rate : $10 - $14 / hr; (Negotiable based on experience)

Shifts Available : 8-hr Shifts

7 : 00 AM 3 : 00 PM
3 : 00 PM 11 : 00 PM
11 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM

Job Summary :

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide quality care to elderly residents in a long-term care or assisted living setting. You'll assist with daily living activities, promote resident comfort and dignity, and work collaboratively with the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure

Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing staff

Assist with mobility and transfer of residents using proper techniques

Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

Provide companionship and emotional support

Follow all care plans and adhere to facility policies and procedures

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

Required Qualifications :

Valid Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification .

Current CPR / First Aid certification .

Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
