Travel RN Job Details

Location : Tualatin, Oregon (97062) – Portland metro area

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : December 17, 2025

End Date : March 18, 2026

Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Total Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2340 - $2510

Unit : Women's Services – Labor & Delivery

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 to 1 : 4 (nights & weekends)

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend; up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Orientation : 24 hours (ASAP, any Wednesday)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or proof of application / fingerprints submitted

At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Experience circulating and assisting with C-sections required; scrub experience preferred

Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP Advanced certifications

Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, or Relias Fetal Heart Monitoring)

Epic charting experience required

Ability to float within site and across the healthcare system as needed

Willingness to work at least one winter holiday

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Must complete assigned education within one week of assignment

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients, including high-risk maternity cases

Circulate and assist with C-sections; scrub experience is a plus

Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormal patterns

Administer medications and manage IVs, including magnesium sulfate and insulin drips

Educate and support patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social services

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records

Float to other Family Birth Centers within the Oregon healthcare system as needed

Participate in orientation, ongoing education, and compliance modules
